Curtis Wildfire Emissions Prevention Bill Unanimously Passes Committee
Senator Curtis today applauded the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s unanimous passage of the Wildfire Emissions Prevention Act, bipartisan legislation to streamline states’ use of prescribed fires to prevent wildfire emissions, protect ecosystems and wildlife habitats, and make American forests and communities safer, healthier, and cleaner. The bill—led by Senator Curtis—is cosponsored by EPW Chair Moore Capito and Senators Merkley, Boozman, Padilla, and Kelly.
