Hey, highs and lows! I’m trying to smile for my high, but it’s getting blown up… We were supposed to be headed home today for what I think is a pretty, needed break. We’re all getting on each other’s nerves back here in D.C., but at this point, nobody quite knows when we will be able to get out of here.
The low, the wildfires are very problematic. My heart, my team’s heart, goes out to all of you affected by it. Our county commissioners, we’re trying the best we can to connect and to stay in touch with them. Everybody, please follow local law enforcement and any advisories that we have. Let’s be as safe as we can. We’ll continue working on some really important legislation here in Washington for wildfires.
